| The Vanguard is a Medium Class Cruiser. Due to this, space on board is at a premium. To give the Vanguard both long and short offensive capabilities, the Plasma Batteries have been retro-fitted to be able to launch missiles as well. This has been a surprise to many Golgesh and Shard starship captains. But none have never survived to tell of the Vanguards secret. Each of the Lance batteries can switch between both Plasma and Missile fire when needed, though due to the space restrictions power suits cannot be used. Therefore modified VMRBots are utilised to monitor and maintain these specialised space weaponry. |
