The Spine Cactus absorbs both the moisture and nutrients of their victims. Eventually they acquire a size that means that they can flower and spread their seeds across the local area via the tiny birds that thrive in the area. Although the smell of the blooms is that of rotten flesh, it therefore attracts small mammals that the Cactus can then devour at it's leisure. |
