| The Nova Class deep space mine is designed to lay along side other mines. Captains try to get rid of mine fields by detonating them from a distance. The Nova Mine does not exactly detonate as much as absorb external energy and magnify it. So if the Mines around the Nova are shot � the Nova will soak up the energy and magnify it ten fold. The resulting explosion means that Starship Captains tend to miscalculate the detonation radius of an Inkari Mine Field. |
