Hungry Fool |
|
Stage 1 |
Location: | Phantom Domain (Border) (2, 14) |
You hear swearing on the air. |
|
Hunkered down in the sand you find an enraged Mutant slamming an odd staff into the ground. Her language is not at all suitable for a young lady. Amused you ask her what is the matter, without looking up she spits venomous words at you. 'That stupid old fool he thinks he can order me around just cos he was important decades ago! I have enough work to do without running round after him!'
In incandescent fury rage she throws a Blueprint at you, 'You do it, the idiot is in the Tender Burrow. If I lay eyes on him I might just give the cretin a good murdering.'
You receive 1 x Jenshih Dinner Blueprint, you are curious to who could be that annoying. |

Stage 2 |
Location: | Phantom Domain (Tender Burrow) (2, 2) |
You enter the small chamber, sitting in the center of the Burrow is a familiar figure. You smile down at him. |
|
The Old Gutter looks up at the smell of the food. He freezes in stunned disbelief at you. Silence fills the tiny chamber.
After a few moments the ancient Stalker glances hungrily at the hearty meal you are offering him. He takes it slowly, he puts it on his knees and tries a bit. 'Hmmmm, you know if you ever get tired of killing folks, you should take up cooking. This is delicious!' He now smiles up at you with a mouth full of succulent steak.
You stand there looking down at him as he eats. He seems to be really enjoying what you gave him. When he finally finishes his dinner he casts aside the plate. 'Soooo, ummmm. Why are you here?' You grin at the Old Gutter, then tell him that the Dahon is losing people and the Tribal Leaders think the Stalkers took them. You have been sent to see if that is correct.
The Gutter's eyes narrow. 'Our Hunting Pack was not the only one sent into the Dahon Plains. Maybe another Pack took your people. It has happened before. We need to replenish our own people at time to time you see. Either they join us or are eaten. Many choose the former option. After all, being the main course is not particularly appetizing. But I guess I have a choice, I can fight you or help you.'
He smiles up at you, then hands you an odd object. 'I guess helping you would be more fun than dying. I don't really know where they keep the newly captured slaves. But it must be somewhere in Tar Thal. But to get there you must go deeply into the Phantom Domain. Your first hurdle is the Proving Grounds. It's best just to go with the flow as those who do not... well they don't trouble us for long.'
'Now, take the Phantom Mark and make the Phantom Dagger. Hand the Dagger to the Fight Master. He will be in the Masters Hut, so you will have to get past the Task Master to see him. I'm sure you will have no difficulty in that. If you survive, I might see you later.'
You receive 318,782 Xp + 10 Skill Points + 1 x Phantom Mark |
