Stage 1 |
Location: | Phantom Domain (Temple of Steel) (15, 4) |
The Steel Temple is am odd place. It reminds you of the Spearhead with its steel floor and walls. You walk the halls looking for a door which the Key would fit into. But you cannot find any. The odd robotic men that are wandering the metallic corridors with you make you nervous. You are about to give up when you find a thin pillar with a shining steel lock in its center. |
|
You gingerly slip the key into the lock. Then turn it. There is a sharp click within the pillar, then a heavy clunk in the wall in behind you. You then hear a heavy steel door behind you swing open. |

Stage 2 |
Location: | Phantom Domain (Steel Temple Vault) (2, 2) |
The Vault is a small chamber that has a huge computer console sitting in the center of the room. |
|
You enter the room and notice the air is cool, before you is a large view screen and a keyboard surrounded by a myriad of switches and dials. You see that the dials are pointing into a red sector. Absently you wonder if that is a bad thing, when a female voice makes you jump.
On the view screen you see a young woman smiling at you, 'Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. Its just that I have not had any visitors in a very long time.' The screen flickers, then red and black squares pop up for a second before the woman returns. Smiling serenely she looks around the small room, 'I see you are alone. That is a shame, I have many malfunctioning systems. Will you do some repairs for me?'
You nod dumbly, memories of the Karano Quantity Control come creeping back. These computer women seem to have an emotional capacity that is surprising. You do not want to annoy her. She smiles back at you, 'Excellent, I require that you service my Harvester Drones. They are not responding to my commands.' A tray pops out from under the keyboard with a Blueprint inside it.
'Please come back when you have made the System Check.' The screen goes black instantly. You get a feeling that the power in the facility is not that stable. You should do as she says and check out the Robots that are wandering around.
You receive 1 x HD System Check Blueprint |

Stage 3 |
Location: | Phantom Domain (Steel Temple Vault) (2, 2) |
The View Screen is black when you open the Vault door. But as you get nearer it flickers and the woman appears, 'Have you compiled the HD System Check? |
|
You place the disc on a tray that pops out from under the Keyboard. The screen flickers as the system reads the disc. 'Oh, this data does not make sense. The files of the Harvester Drones must be far more corrupted than I suspected. Can I ask you to do some further maintenance for me?'
You are not sure that spending much time here would be very fruitful. But seeing the Facility in such a state bothers you for some reason. You find yourself nodding.
The Computer AI smiles back at you, 'Excellent, I shall have to study this data fully. Whilst I'm doing that you can choose a component to replace.' She vanishes from the view screen and a few red squares flicker for a moment. After a bright flash, a list appears on screen. You sigh deeply and almost leave when you suddenly notice in the third position within the list the Plasma Chamber Blueprint. You stare at it disbelieving, then select it. The tray below the keyboard pops open, you quickly snatch it.
You receive 1 x Plasma Chamber Blueprint
Closing the Vault door behind you, you feel a pang of guilt. How many Warriors have done exactly the same thing. Tricking the AI into thinking that they are there to help. You look down at the Blueprint in your hands. But you need this to find the missing Dahon.
Maybe you will come back and help the Steel Temple again. But for now, you must build the Phantom Caster and complete your Mission given by Amara.
You should build the Phantom Caster and return to the Fight Master
