Stage 1

4595 grunts at you, 'It's ok for you, you just eat something. But I have to power my batteries eventually, so where am I going to plug in? I haven't seen even a wall socket!' You hadn't thought of that and ask him how long he has. The Droid shrugs, 'I have about 4 days left before I shut down. But I doubt that will be a problem as we appear to becoming rapidly surrounded.' You look around blankly at the wall of thick mist surrounding you. The Droid sighs heavily, 'My optics are not as limited as your bio-based sensors. Trust me, you must defend yourself.' You must kill 150 Xangerbeasts or be devoured.

Stage 2

4595 reloads his pistol, 'Have you got rid of our hungry friends?'
The Peace Officer nods curtly, 'Excellent, we should keep moving. I have tried to scan ahead, but this area seems to disrupt long range emitters. But I have detected an odd Entity in the Haze, we should check it out.' Meet 4595 in the Haze.

Stage 3

4595 waves you over.
4595 flicks the safety on and off on his pistol, you wonder at this sudden manifestation of nervousness within the Droid. 'I did not arrive long before you but I met an odd Entity here. It did not react well to me at all. That is to say it didn't like me. It attacked me of course, that goes without saying, but half way through the fight it stops and stares at me as if concentrating. Why it did this is beyond me as it left it open and I landed the killing blow. We must find out what these Entities are made of. It will help us I'm sure. Go examine the Echo Shifter, see what you can find.'

Stage 4

4595 walks up to you, 'Did you find out anything about the Echo Shifter?'
The Droid scans the Mindfire Gemstone, 'I don't really understand what is going on within the object you have given me, I'm a Police Droid after all. But with our job we have to be aware of psionic abilities and objects. It's amazing how often those who have psychic abilities think they can are above the Law. My scans show multiple psionic components within the item, which all seem to point to a particular function. I have extrapolated that data and I think this is what the result of the object would be.' A narrow bright scanning beam hits the Gemstone and it gives a loud crack, then shatters into a cloud of tiny crystal shards. You flinch at the sudden explosion of crystal. You hear the Droid laugh, 'Sorry, I forgot that you don't have a Hyper Alloy frame like me.' He then hands you a smaller crystal shard. 'This crystal has the Psionic wave length that the Gemstone you gave me seemed to point at. Please don't ask me what it does. Maybe it will be useful later. We best move on. Meet me in Gallery. My scans show another interesting wavelength manifesting there. You receive 1 x Mindcall Shard

Stage 5

4595 gazes around at the vaulted Gallery that surrounds him.
The Droid nods, 'The topography of this area is very different from the other areas we have been in. I wonder if it is effecting the wavelength I detected earlier, as it does seem to vary considerably. Anyway, the Entities seem to be the source of the wavelength. We require a sample of the weapon they wield, it seems to be the focus of their abilities. I would like a detailed scan of it to see if they are much different from the Echo Shifter we met earlier.'

Stage 6

4595 waits for your return, 'Have you managed to get a sample of the weapon used by the Echo Runeblades yet?'
The Police Droid takes strange ethereal blade from you and scans it. 'Right � I don't understand the subtleties of this weapon, only that it seems to suck energy from anyone touching the blade and channel that energy through the hilt into the swords wielder. This does show that the Echo differ a lot from one another which is not a good thing. Every Echo will pose a different threat to us so we must tread carefully.'
